Hi, I’m Gabby!

I am a proud wife & mother, budding artist, and army veteran with a deep passion for nature and travel.

My journey into the world of reproductive health began with my own experiences of disconnection with my body and the realization that it is quite common.

Your period doesn’t have to be a burden.

Let me tell you something no one told me soon enough:
You don’t have to suffer through your period every month.
You don’t have to fake-smile through the cramps, carry shame in your bag, or feel like your body is some unsolvable mystery.

But trust me, I didn’t always see it that way.

For most of my life, I just… pushed through as much as I could.
Crippling cramps? “Whatever, I’ll just pop something and keep going.”
Mood swings? “Here I go being dramatic.”
Feeling exhausted and out of sync? “More days than not.”

I grew up thinking period pains were the luck of a draw, some folks end up with cramps and others migraines.

And then I became a mom (Whew. Game changer).
Suddenly, I wasn’t just surviving my body — I was modeling for a little girl how to live in hers.

And let me tell you: nothing will make you reevaluate the way you treat your body faster than realizing someone’s watching you do it.

So I started paying attention. I learned to chart. I questioned everything.
I unlearned so much shame and started reconnecting with the wisdom that was within me the whole time.

For generations, we have been taught to treat periods as something to endure silently.

Maybe you were taught to ignore the cramps and shrug off other irregularities, or assume that anxiety is just part of the deal of “being a woman” or being born female.

But ignoring or suffering through your cycle isn’t just exhausting… it’s harmful.

No one deserves to move through life disconnected from their body or believing it’s “broken.”

When I was a teen I thought my painful periods, intense cravings, and extreme mood swings were all part of “what it was to be a woman”.

It took me years to unlearn these types of beliefs and learn how to properly rest and nourish my body.

By the time I had my first child, I was made uncomfortably aware of how little I understood my body's primal wisdom.

My daughter has been a huge inspiration to me to model what it looks like to have a positive relationship with and intimate awareness of your body.

My journey has been inspired by my girlhood and daughter, and I created this space to destigmatize menstrual and sexual health.

There is so much we aren't taught about our own bodies and so many of us are struggling with menstrual irregularities when we don't need to be.

Roots of Reproduction was born from this space between “I was never taught this” and “I'm going to make damn sure my daughter is.”

This space is for you — the one who’s tired of feeling at war with their body.

It’s for the ones who were told “this is just how it is,”
and the ones who are now asking… But what if it’s not?

Here, we take a different approach:

  • Your cycle is not a curse — it’s a map.
  • Your period is a vital sign — not an inconvenience.
  • Your emotions aren’t irrational — they’re information.
  • And yes, you can absolutely feel confident in your body, even when you’re bleeding.

This is a shame-free, judgment-free zone where we embrace real, rhythmic, body-led learning that makes sense in real life — with kids yelling, your tea going cold, and your calendar is a hot mess.

What I believe:

  • Your body is always communicating. You deserve tools to understand it.
  • Rest is sacred. Boundaries are self-care. Education is liberation.
  • Menstrual shame ends with us.

Whether you’re here because your period feels out of control, you want to teach your teen a better way, or you’re just curious — I’m so glad you made it.

Let’s unlearn the shame, learn the rhythm, and root into your body’s truth.
